Yesterday Tianna started kissing Kiri when she came over to her booster seat. It was the first time I'd seen her do that and they just kept doing it, so I couldn't resist taking pictures.

On April 3, 2006, we signed the papers and became official owners of this house in Minneapolis. This was our first home purchase and quite an exciting, very busy experience. We'd had plenty of experience moving before, but not to our *own* home and not with *two* kids in tow. Now nearly 2 months in our new home and beginning to feel settled, though still not completely settled as we have some work left to do on the house. We were fortunate to have our dear friend Cristiane arrive from Brasil the day we were moving in, and that's been a huge help! :) A few days later Andrea's sister & family arrived for a few days visit. We hadn't seen them in 3 years, since they moved away to Malawi when Kjersten was a baby. They too were a big help and encouragement.
